Electric cars are coming faster than most people can imagine. According to Stanford University, by 2025 there’ll be no new petrol or diesel cars in production. Just like the iPhone revolutionised phones, Tesla is revolutionising cars.

And it’s not just Tesla – BMW, Nissan, Jaguar, Renault, Volkswagen, Polestar and Hyundai all have great electric vehicles today, and more are expected imminently.

Electric Vehicle Sales Specialist


We’re expanding our Electric Vehicle Growth Team in London. We're looking for an Electric Vehicles Sales Specialist, who will be responsible for managing sales directly with our customers focusing on our salary sacrifice product. You will be the face and the voice of the Octopus Electric Vehicles, advising and supporting customers throughout their journey towards purchasing an EV. Discussing their requirements and finding the perfect vehicle for their lifestyle, considering the salary sacrifice product fully and the benefits of going electric. A genuine passion for customer experience and sustainability is a must with a strong understanding of process and the importance of customer service. What you'll do

  • Develop and establish your sales pipeline with customers - from lead through to delivery and deliver sales in line with KPIs
  • Manage orders in progress and supervise order processing
  • Continue planning and targeting of the acquisition of new customers
  • Recording customer satisfaction and initiative best measures
  • Attend our own consumer marketing events to spread the word of electric vehicles and how we can help! (virtual and non virtual depending on restrictions)
  • Provide excellent customer service both through the sales process and also in after-sales customer care
  • Work with the wider teams to iterate propositions and materials for the consumer market
  • Strategically build your pipeline working with the team to create strong relationships both internally within departments and externally with our customers both on a consumer and business level.
What you'll need
  • Proven track record of excellent customer experience
  • Either previous sales experience within a consultative environment or a strong passion for Electric Vehicles / Energy and decarbonisation
  • Excellent listening skills when dealing in b2c roles and great communication

Customer Operations Specialist - OctoPool

We’re in scale up mode, and hire according to our workload in the operations team, where we’re focused on making EV leasing effortless.
So, what is the OctoPool? We’re introducing the ‘OctoPool’. Simply, we’ll be open to applications at any time for roles that we know we will be hiring into as we scale.
This is a two-way process. We want to give you the time to learn about us and be confident in your decision when you decide to come join us (you’re going to love it!).
We’ll regularly meet with candidates and progress those we think would thrive here, into a more formal process.

This role, in a nutshell... We are looking for Customer Operations Specialists who can help us deliver our mission to make it seamless for individuals and businesses to make the transition to zero-carbon driving.
This customer-facing role will focus on carrying out, and suggesting improvements to our existing processes, ensuring that our customers have delightful, memorable experiences. This is an early junior hire into the Ops team, so there is lots to do but also a chance to influence how we provide our service and plenty of development opportunities. What you'll do

  • Work with colleagues in the customer experience team and across other parts of the business to ensure that our customers receive the best experience during every interaction
  • Specifically, manage customer journeys from contracting right through to car delivery and after, escalating issues where needed

Business Development Executive - Weybridge


We’re expanding our Electric Vehicle Growth Team. We're looking for Salary Sacrifice Sales Executives, who will be responsible for managing sales directly with our SME customers (25-250 employees) focusing on our Salary Sacrifice product.
You will be the face and the voice of Octopus Electric Vehicles, advising and supporting customers throughout their journey towards setting up a Salary Sacrifice scheme.
A genuine passion for customer experience and sustainability is a must with a passion for relationship building and the importance of customer service.
This role will include a generous car allowance as part of the overall package and will be based in our brand new office Weybridge 3 days a week. What you'll do

  • Develop and establish your sales pipeline with customers - from lead through to delivery, meeting (and hopefully exceeding) targets set
  • Planning, targeting of the acquisition of new customers
  • Manage your pipeline and take control, recording progress in our CRM system and keeping things all up to date
  • Recording customer satisfaction and best practice measures
  • Plan, attend and run customer launch events to spread the word of electric vehicles and how we can help! (virtual and non virtual depending on restrictions)

Sales Team Manager - London


We’re expanding our Electric Vehicle Growth Team. We're looking for experienced Business Development Team Managers, who will be responsible for managing a sales team.Your team will work directly with our business customers focused on the growth of our Salary Sacrifice product.
Your team will be the face and the voice of Octopus Electric Vehicles, advising and supporting customers throughout their journey towards setting up a Salary Sacrifice scheme.
We’re looking for people with a genuine passion for Team development and Coaching as well as sustainability is a must with a passion for relationship building and understanding the importance of customer service.

  • Manage your sales team to identify and win new business with customers
  • Distribute and manage sales leads across the team and ensure these are managed in a timely manner

Back End Developer


We're looking for someone with a general interest in technology and problem-solving; someone diligent and thoughtful. An interest in electric vehicles and the transition to zero emissions mobility would be a bonus. What you'll have

Account Manager


We're building out our Account Management Team in London, and we're looking for superstars with relevant experience to be one of the early hires in this team and help shape what we deliver and how we deliver it. You will be the face and the voice of Octopus Electric Vehicles, advising and supporting customers throughout their journey setting up a Salary Sacrifice scheme and in life.   • Manage a number of accounts all the way from set up through to in life and renewal across a number of products (focusing initially on salary sacrifice schemes)
  • Organise and run key implementation meetings and answer client queries about our products and services
  • Work with clients and our sales and marketing teams to plan and deliver events to launch our products and services (focusing initially on salary sacrifice schemes)
  • Have regular review meetings with clients to talk through employee engagement, new products and services and manage and implement feedback
  • Work closely with our sales and operations teams to drive orders and in life service delivery

Business Development Manager


We’re expanding our Electric Vehicle Growth Team. We're looking for Salary Sacrifice Business Development Managers, who will be responsible for managing sales directly with our business customers (roughly speaking 250-1,500 employees) focusing on our Salary Sacrifice product. You will be the face and the voice of Octopus Electric Vehicles, advising and supporting customers throughout their journey towards setting up a Salary Sacrifice scheme. A dedication to improving the Customer Experience is a must along with expertise in relationship building and a genuine passion for sustainability. This role will include a generous car allowance as part of the overall package and will be based in our brand new office Weybridge 1-2 days a week. What you'll do

  • Develop and establish your sales pipeline with customers - from lead through to delivery, meeting (and ideally exceeding) targets set
  • Working from leads, planning and targeting the acquisition of new customers
  • Manage your pipeline and take control, recording progress in our CRM system and keeping things all up to date
  • Recording customer satisfaction and best practice measures
  • Plan, attend and run customer launch events to spread the word of electric vehicles and how we can help! (virtual and non virtual depending on restrictions)
  • Provide excellent customer service through the sales process
  • Share best practice and things you’ve learnt with your wider team, we’re still growing we have lots to learn along the way
  • Work with the wider teams to iterate propositions and materials for the B2B market
  • Strategically build your pipeline working with the team to create strong relationships both internally within departments and externally with our customers both on a consumer and business level
What you'll need
  • Proven track record of delivering an excellent Customer Experience
  • Previous sales experience of sales within a B2B consultative environment is a must along with a strong passion for Electric Vehicles / Energy and decarbonisation
  • Knowledge of employee benefits and/or car leasing would be a big benefit
  • Excellent listening skills and great communication
  • A ruthless focus on the customer with a genuine passion for going above and beyond for customers

We’re expanding our Electric Vehicle Growth Team. We're looking for experienced Business Development Team Managers, who will be responsible for managing a sales team.Your team will work directly with our business customers focused on the growth of our Salary Sacrifice product.

  • Manage your sales team to identify and win new business with customers
  • Distribute and manage sales leads across the team and ensure these are managed in a timely manner
  • Ensure the team are diligently developing sales pipelines with customers - from lead through to delivery, meeting (and ideally exceeding) targets set
  • Implement a performance management culture and routine within the team to unleash their full potential through regular 1:1s, coaching, setting stretching objectives and providing regular feedback on performance against these objectives

This opportunity would welcome a Product Manager looking to spread their wings from feature ownership to broader, end to end management of digital products. What you'll do

  • Own the end to end product definition and delivery of key journeys in Octopus Electric Vehicles’ digital product
  • Collaborate with a wildly talented, diverse and passionate team to deliver your product to market in record time
  • Build use cases, business process flow charts and conduct ongoing user acceptance testing, product quality sign-off, and product documentation
  • Work with the engineering team to deliver a scalable architecture that not just meets current needs, but considers future growth scenarios
  • Use analytics data and first-hand research to understand user behaviours and inform product and design improvements
What you'll need
  • An in-depth knowledge of software product management, UX & UI, cross-functional requirement gathering and prioritisation
  • An ability to respond to complicated briefs from stakeholders, make decisions and communicate an appropriate response/strategy
  • An agile mindset; you can both nurture a cohesive product vision and optimise the smallest detail
